1) Where can I find information on surgical procedures?

Vesalius.com is one excellent website to view pictures and notes from actual surgical procedures. They charge a subscription fee, but there is usually a good case available for free from their home page.

Discovery Health also has a site where you can look up information on various procedures.

2) Where can I find information on surgical instruments?

An excellent site with pictures, descriptions, and even a video (requires Windows Media Player) available online from Spartanburg Technical College in South Carolina.

3) How much does a CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) earn?

This varies from state to state, and also depends on the area of focus you choose. AST.org has a PDF file [40k download] with a map of the United States, and the average hourly wage of SurgTechs on each state in general.
