About Surgical Technologists

Surgical Technologists are a vital part of the surgical field today. Though somewhat new on the scene as a career title (before 1978, the official title was "Operating Room Technician"), Surgical Technologists are hard at work today in operating rooms around the world.

This site is dedicated to serving Surgical Technologists, SurgTech students, and their loved ones -- who sometimes need a little extra help understanding the complexities of working in the Operating Room.
